Visitors will also enjoy Mabuhay Restop’s pop-cultural dinner show entitled Manilla Vanilla, a comedy musical about the preparations of a family about to open up their home as a bed and breakfast, told through entertaining dialogues and fantastic singing by the topnotch performers.  Philippine folk dances like Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Sayaw sa Bangko, Manglalatik, Itik-Itik, and Tinikling are incorporated throughout the show.  Manila Vanilla is written and directed by Nestor U. Torre, one of the most prominent directors in the Philippines, backed by music from Ryan Cayabyab, also one of the most accomplished Filipino composers.  The cast consists of talented artists Celine Fabie, Andy Bais, CJ Mangahis, and Edward Fernandez. They are complemented by the Gawad Kalinga folk dancers.
